Static Load Test – Crown Reaction System
Static axial compression testing using a steel crown/reaction frame supported by reaction piles or anchors.

SAEC offers 8 specialized testing services in Pile Load Testing & Integrity
Every pile installed by SAEC Foundations undergoes rigorous testing to verify that it meets or exceeds the design capacity it was engineered to deliver. Pile load testing and integrity assessment are not optional add-ons — they are integral components of our quality assurance process, providing the data-backed certainty that each foundation element will perform as intended throughout the life of the structure.
Our load testing capability covers the full spectrum of pile verification methods used across the UAE. We perform static load tests using both crown reaction and kentledge systems, bi-directional static load tests using embedded O-cells to evaluate shaft and base resistance independently, and dynamic load testing using high-strain impact analysis (PDA) to assess pile capacity quickly and cost-effectively. Each method is selected based on pile type, project requirements, and applicable standards.
For integrity assessment, SAEC employs cross-hole sonic logging (CSL), thermal integrity profiling (TIP), sonic echo and low-strain testing, and pile integrity testing (PIT). These non-destructive and semi-destructive techniques enable us to identify defects, voids, cracks, necking, bulging, or changes in pile cross-section — ensuring that every installed pile meets the quality standards our clients expect from SAEC.
All testing and verification services are performed by our in-house specialist teams using calibrated equipment, with results documented in comprehensive reports that support design validation, regulatory compliance, and long-term asset confidence.

Static axial compression testing using a steel crown/reaction frame supported by reaction piles or anchors.

Static axial compression testing using kentledge weights as the reaction system to determine pile load capacity and settlement.

Static pile load testing using an embedded hydraulic O-cell to evaluate shaft and base resistance independently and determine load-bearing capacity.

High-strain dynamic impact testing used to evaluate pile capacity and performance.

Uses ultrasonic signals between access tubes to identify defects, voids, or poor-quality concrete in bored piles.

Uses heat generated during concrete hydration to assess pile integrity and identify anomalies.

A low-strain impact test that measures the reflected wave to assess pile integrity.

Low-strain testing to check pile continuity and detect defects, cracks, necking, bulging, or changes in pile section.
SAEC operates a comprehensive fleet of heavy and specialized equipment, enabling fully self-performed project execution with high efficiency and full control over quality, schedule, and cost. Our integrated approach ensures seamless delivery from concept to completion.
